Got something to say about local bus services?

If you've got something to say about bus services in Cornwall then why not pop along to one of the two First Devon and Cornwall Meet the Manager sessions which are being held in the county on Tuesday 24 April 2012.

As part of its ongoing commitment to customer service a number of managers from First Devon and Cornwall including the new Regional Customer Services Manager, Natacha Tagholm, will attend special Meet the Manager events in Cornwall. The first will take place in the First Travel Shop in Penzance between 11am and 2.30pm on 24 April, while the second will take place in the First Travel Shop in Truro between 3.30pm and 6pm on 24 April 2012.

Both sessions will offer customers the opportunity to talk directly to the local management team, raising any concerns they may have and allowing the senior team to respond to any questions people may have about local services.

Natacha Tagholm, Regional Customer Services Manager, First in South West and Wales, explains: "These sessions, which are open to anyone, give local people the opportunity to find out more about local bus services, or offer feedback about their own customer experiences.

"We value what people tell us. Where people highlight problems they have had we can use the information to resolve issues and fundamentally build a better bus service for them locally, and where they have suggestions for improvements we'll happily take them on board, implementing those that are feasibly possible.

"The Meet the Manager sessions also give people the opportunity to find out more about local bus routes, understanding where they go and how frequently. We'll also have information to give away including bus timetables and information about the various season ticket products available which can substantially cut the cost of travel for those who use the buses regularly.

The first Meet the Manager session will take place in the First Travel Shop in Penzance Bus Station (Station Approach, Penzance, TR8 2LL) on Tuesday 24 April between 11am and 2.30pm. The second session will take place later the same day in the First Travel Shop in Truro Bus Station (The Green, Truro, TR1 2LH). The latter will run between 3.30pm and 6pm.
